Roasted Broccoli with Garlic and Lemon is so simple, but the simplest ingredients always make the best food. The garlic and the lemon enhances the flavor of the charred, slightly smoky broccoli.. it truly is the perfect dish.

My kids love it, my friends and family can’t get enough…Literally. Every time I make it, it NEVER makes it to the dinner table. People are forever swiping it off the sheet tray when I’m not looking lol.

This recipe by far is my fave way to prepare broccoli. It’s my fave way to prepare most veggies to be honest. To make this we need 4 ingredients and thats it!

Roasted Broccoli

The 4 ingredients are broccoli, garlic, extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice. 5 ingredients if you add heat with crushed red pepper, but that’s optional. This recipe for roasted broccoli with garlic and lemon is just a guide. Use the exact recipe for other veggies too, cauliflower, parsnips, onions…have fun with it and experiment with veggies you haven’t tried before.

Roasted Broccoli

Keep in mind that different veggies have different cooking times. Start checking your oven at about the 15 minute mark for doneness. The veggies are done when they are tender but still have a bite to it and charred in spots.

Roasted Broccoli

This recipe is supposed to serves about 5 ppl, if it ever makes it to your table of course lol. FYI, these Broccoli are the perfect side to my Green Curry Buttermilk Roast Chicken 😉
