I started making this spicy tuna salad as a way to get my kid to eat more fish . Jaydah never wanted to eat classic tuna salad , ever!! she absolutely hated the way it smelled and looked . And let me tell you , I make a bangin tuna salad. The secret is a lot of lemon juice and more than your normal amount of celery , but anywayz I digress .. she didn’t like it, not one bit… until i threw in a couple hot bombs in there .
Ok maybe I shouldn’t say hot bombs . I don’t want you to think your mouth is gonna blow off your face. lol. This Easy Spicy Tuna Salad recipe will wake your mouth up for sure! – in a good way though 😉

Equipment:
- cutting board
- chef’s knife
- medium mixing bowl
- colander
- spoon
Ingredients:
- canned tuna fish
- red onion
- celery
- jalapeno
- pepperoncini
- crushed red pepper
- lemon
- mayo
- tabascco sauce
- kosher salt
- ground or cracked black pepper
Let’s make this Easy Spicy Tuna Salad!
Prep:
First things first.. affix your cutting board to your counter with a damp paper towel. Gather all the ingredients and equipment. Drain the tuna using the colander over the bowl. Discard the tuna water and transfer the tuna to the same bowl. Dice the red onion, celery and jalapeño and add to the bowl. Roughly chop the pepperoncini and add to the bowl as well.
Cook
There’s no cooking.. just mixing. Add the crushed red pepper, lemon juice, mayo, tabasco sauce, salt and pepper. Mix all ingredients together with your spoon. Taste and adjust with salt and pepper if needed.
Eat
Enjoy the delicious easy spicy tuna salad in a sandwich, salad, melt, wrap, with crackers.. you get the point 😉 Just enjoy 🙂

Ingredients
- 2- 5oz cans of Tuna Fish , drained
- 1/2- Red Onion, diced small
- 1- Celery Stalk, diced small
- 1/2 Jalapeno, diced small
- 3-4 Whole Pepperoncini Peppers, roughly chopped
- 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 4 dashes of Tabasco sauce
- 3 Full Tablespoons of Mayo
- 1/4-1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix it all up.
- Adjust seasoning, (start with 1/4 tsp salt and pepper and go from there.) if needed, with salt and pepper to taste.
- Enjoy!
