Whip up this quick and easy Creamy Mayo Caesar dressing using just a few pantry staples! Creamy, rich, and packed with flavor, this recipe never disappoints!

Traditional Caesar dressing uses raw eggs and anchovies in the recipe. Anchovies isn’t a food item I normally keep in my pantry, but Worcestershire sauce definitely is. Worcestershire sauce contains anchovies, so that’s an easy and affordable swap for me. Mayo, another pantry staple of mine, is an emulsion of eggs and oil, making it another easy cheat/hack for making this creamy caesar dressing.

This Caesar dressing has no raw eggs or any hard to find ingredients, instead we use pantry staples like mayo and Worcestershire sauce for a creamy, flavorful twist. It’s a quick and easy recipe that delivers all the classic taste without the hassle!

Cut the lemon, grate the cheese and set both aside. Measure out the mayo and transfer to the mason jar. Add the dijon and Worcestershire directly to the jar. Grate the garlic right in too. Squeeze the juice out the lemon right into the jar , next add the cheese and freshly cracked black pepper. Stir until it’s all incorporated. Adjust the consistency to your liking. If it’s too thick, thin it out with some water or more lemon juice. if you’re going to adjust the consistency of the dressing then you might have to adjust the seasoning as well.

This creamy mayo dressing is ridiculously delicious but I do realize that some people don’t like mayo. If that person is you or if you know someone that gets skeeved out at the thought of white sauces then try the caesar vinaigrette featured in my Chicken, Mixed Greens and Raw Cauliflower Salad instead. Its too good!

FAQ’S

  • What makes caesar dressing creamy?

– Caesar dressings are creamy because it’s an emulsion of eggs, mustard and oil. My recipe uses mayo in place of the egg and oil, thus making it creamy without raw eggs.

  • Can I use light mayo or vegan mayo instead of regular mayonnaise?

– Absolutely!

  • What can I use in place of country dijon mustard?

– Regular dijon mustard is just fine, but use what you have.

  • How can I make this dressing lighter but still have it taste good?

– I’ve used this recipe with 1/2 cup mayo and 1/2 cup greek yogurt. I prefer whole fat greek yogurt but non fat works as well. Non fat or 2% yogurts tend to be on the watery side so the dressing will be thinner but still delicious!

  • How do I store this mayo based dressing?

– Store your dressing in your mason jar with an air tight lid. This dressing will last for 2 weeks in the fridge.
